Event Review: LogiMAT

Event review: LogiMAT - A great success for ELOKON
3 busy days, in-depth dialogue with visitors and positive feedback

After a two-year break due to the Corona virus, the ELOKON team was delighted to be back in person rather than virtually at LogiMAT 2022 from 31st May to 2nd June. Every inch of the 125,000m2 exhibition space was taken by around 1,500 companies, who were as eager as ELOKON was to show off their new developments and network with existing and potential new contacts. “Our industry thrives on dialogue and exchange of ideas on innovations, trends and market developments, and this has obviously been lacking recently. But we made up for this to a certain extent at the very busy LogiMAT," said Andreas Folz, Head of Sales at ELOKON GmbH.

New products and developments presented

The focus on ELOKON’s stand this year was on smart safety and assistance systems and included the debut of ELOcate. This solution uses a UWB radio-based Real-Time-Location-System (RTLS), which can track and locate all movements of people, forklifts and AGVs within the warehouse and which enables increased operational safety and productivity in the warehouse. The cloud-based fleet management system ELOfleet attracted a high level of interest with visitors due to its flexibility and customisability as well as its new functionalities of central document and battery management systems. The introduction of a new AGV module for the driver assistance system ELOshield reflects the growing presence of AGVs in the warehouse which are working alongside traditional ride-on industrial vehicles.

We enjoyed three exceptionally busy and successful days in Stuttgart, we had many interesting discussions with visitors and we are particularly proud of the positive feedback we received.

Filics: Getting a taste of trade fair air for the first time

We also hosted the young start-up from the robotics sector Filics on our stand following ELOKON Ventures GmbH participation last autumn as part of the seed round.  Filics demonstrated its autonomous pallet transport system to visitors and gained invaluable experience from its LogiMAT premiere.
